Cancer treatment

Value Care Plan members are entitled to receive cancer (oncology) treatment, provided a Prime Cure facility or network practitioner refers them to a specialist. You can get authorisation by phoning 0861 665 665. Treatment is subject to case management, treatment protocols and provided in a state facility.

If diagnosed with cancer, you can upgrade to the Managed Care Plan within three months of initial diagnosis or commencement of treatment. Subject to Scheme protocols.
